Professional Jung Ho-young is in charge of digital transformation (DX) in LG Sciencepark. Today, he is introducing LG’s technologies to customers who have been invited to LG Sciencepark. LG Sciencepark has exhibition halls displaying collections of innovative products from all the subsidiaries and state-of-the-art meeting facilities for each subsidiary for important business meetings and events.

AM 10:00 ISC (Innovation Strategy Center)

ISC is the center of LG Sciencepark. The lobby in this center is set out like a cozy living room. At one side, you can see a display of LG’s signature products from its ultra-premium electronics brand. The no-frills luxurious design is reminiscent of some artwork.

AM 10:30 LG Innovation Gallery

Professional Jung took the customers to LG Innovation Gallery where they could see LG’s state-of-the-art technologies all in one place. This is where you can see the future R&D technologies of this world-leading company in one spot. The gallery is divided into 5G, Robots, OLED, VS, Bio and Beauty Zones. Currently, the tour is only available to business customers.

PM 2:00 ISC 6th Floor Vision Hall

After meal, we headed to Vision Hall for customer seminar. About 660 square meters big and capable of accommodating 150 people, Vision Hall is a terraced multi-purpose hall where big and small events of LG Sciencepark are held. There are projectors in the front and screens on both sides, which provide a wider viewing angle. At the back, there is a simultaneous translation room ready for big events like global seminars and conferences.

PM 4:00 LG Display Magok Showroom

After the seminar, there was a tour inside LG Display Magok Showroom. Here, you can see a glimpse of the future of OLED displays tailored to various lifestyles, including displays for smart homes and games.

You can see a range of LG Display’s next-generation display panels from transparent OLED and flexible OLED to fitting mirrors with built-in VR solutions set out in a realistic living space. COVID-19 made it difficult for LG Display to participate in CES 2021, so the company moved all its exhibits into this showroom. The showroom is now used as a permanent exhibition hall.

PM 5:00 LG CNS Communication Center

As the final stop of the tour, Professional Jung took us to Communication Center located on the first floor of the LG CNS head office. This place combines the future IT technologies envisioned by LG CNS and the emotional marketing solution B.E.A.T (Briefing Experience Authoring Tool). The first floor presents the emotional experience of what feels like watching a show through the storyline that starts at the lobby and continues along the entire path to the briefing room. B.E.A.T is a marketing solution developed to offer optimized briefing environments. It won the Service Design Category of German iF Design Award in 2020.

While Communication Center is on the first floor, the ninth floor has Executive Briefing Center (EBC) for receiving and meeting with VIP guests in a quiet and undisturbed space. The center has conference rooms, media halls and lounges where you can have meetings using multi-media and have conversations in a relaxing atmosphere.

The major elements that make up the space are user-oriented, completing the overall experiential design that helps to draw more attention and increase effectiveness in delivering messages. Today’s VIP meeting ended successfully in a pleasant and friendly atmosphere! Looking forward to the next meeting!
